The American Heart Association PALS Course was developed as a means of training healthcare providers who may be required to resuscitate adults.
Everyone is welcome to attend the 1-day AHA PALS Course but they are expected to come prepared, especially if this is their first time. American Heart Association Program Administration Manual guidelines: Who can attend the 1-day Course?
*NOTE: To obtain OR renew BLS, you must successfully complete the online AHA BLS Heartcode eLearning Course prior to arriving for skills testing.
The BLS Online Course & Skills Testing option can be used for first time attendees or for renewal.
After you select the BLS Online Course & Skills Testing option below ⇓, and complete payment, you will receive a course key to access the online BLS eLearning course, along with instructions on how to access this online course.
The BLS Online course normally takes about 60-90 minutes to complete.
On the day of the course, you will bring your course completion certificate to give to the instructor and provide return demonstration of the BLS skills discussed in the online course.
BLS skills testing is done at 7:30 am, prior to the PALS Course. Please be on time or you may be asked to reschedule.
